Name: Jaw of Ice (Koori no Ago)
Description: The user brings forth ice from the ground, which quickly stops opponents in their tracks, by causing Ice to surround their legs, preventing movement. A more experienced member of this technique can use the Ice to quickly coil around other parts of the body, in order to further the prevention of movement. A great technique to capture targets. Its range is decent, being mid-range to the user.
Perquisite(s): The Ice can only come up from the ground, so the target needs to be more stationary, then mobile.
Limitations: This technique binds the target(s) for 3 posts, and has a 2 post cooldown.
User(s): The average Shitsuren Clansman can use this technique, and those more experienced can use it more flexibly to their advantage.

Name: Demonic Thin Ice Mirrors
Description: The user vanishes and reappears in any location desired (usually behind the enemy), then creates a single ice mirror. The user will then leap into the mirror from the rear and come out from the front, slashing the enemy with their weapon, or hitting them with another jutsu.
Perquisite(s): It only works effectively by surprising the enemy.

Name: Ice Spikes (Koori Supaiku)
Description: The user unleashes giant spikes made of ice if they are endangered. Haku used this when he defends himself from his father when he attempted to kill him because of his Kekkei Genkai.
Perquisite(s): An inexperienced user of Ice Release uses this technique by instinct, lacking control over it, however, a more experienced Shitsuren Clansman is capable of using this Technique at will, and off any part of his/her body in combat.
Limitations: --
User(s): This is a very basic technique that most of the more inexperienced Clansman happen to use by instinct, more experienced Clansman can use this technique quite a lot more effectively in battle.

Name: Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors (Makyō Hyōshō )
Description: Using the Shitsuren kekkei genkai, a ninja can create a dome of twenty-one mirrors made out of ice to trap an opponent. Twelve remain at ground level, eight are placed above the first twelve and angled toward the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. The user can then enter one of the mirrors and instantly transport to another mirror. While moving about they bombard the opponent with attacks at very high speeds, such that the rest of the world appear to be moving in slow motion compared to him. If the mirror the user is in is broken, he/she can leap out of one of the fragments and continue his attack or move to another mirror. The technique requires a large amount of chakra to maintain, so the user's movement become progressively slower the longer he/she maintains the mirrors. Though they are made from ice, the mirrors are resistant to at least low-level fire techniques (Sasuke's Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique was barely able to make the rim frost melt).

Limitations: This technique lasts 6 posts, and has a 4 post cooldown.
User(s): High-leveled members of this Clan are capable of using this technique, and Masters really put it to work in battle.

Name: Demonic Mirror Ice Murder (Makyō Hyō Satsu )
Description: After the victim is trapped in the user's Demonic Ice Mirrors, the mirrors will explode, damaging all inside while the user, using his/her speed to get away at the last instant, remains safely outside of the blast.
Perquisite(s): The targets must be caught inside the Demonic Ice Mirrors in order to use this technique effectively.
Limitations: --
User(s): Higher leveled members of this Clan are capable of taking Demonic Ice Mirrors to an even higher and more damaging extent, by making the mirrors explode.

Name: Ice Prison Technique (Hyōrō no Jutsu)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to infuse their chakra with ice underground and bring it to the surface. The user can then trap their opponent within the ice by controlling its movements and completely surrounding them in the ice. This jutsu is strong enough to withstand basic fire jutsu, because the ice has already been infused with the user's chakra. This allows this jutsu to double as a defensive technique, by the user encasing themselves in the ice.

Limitations: The target(s) is/are trapped for 4 posts, and then this technique has a 3 post cooldown.
User(s): This technique is used by the more adept Ice Release users.

Name: Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm (Hyōton: Tsubame Fubuki )
Description: This jutsu creates a cluster of ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows, which the user then throws at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings.This jutsu cannot be eliminated by fire techniques.
Perquisite(s): --
Limitations: The user can summon up to 100 ice swallows, however, a master can summon as much as 1000. This technique has a 2 post cooldown.
User(s): The average Shitsuren Clansman is capable of using this Jutsu at its more basic state, but, Masters of Ice Release are capable of using this technique to its greatest extent.

Name: Ice Release: Dashing Dragon Devil Technique (Hyoton: Tosshin Ryuu Akuma no Jutsu)
Description: The user releases up to ten jolting ice dragons which they steer to their advantage. All of these Ice Dragons have a high-resistance to fire techniques, and each can cause quite a lot of havoc. Though the dragons are individual, their usage is often in synch. These dragons are very destructive, and can explode on impact capable of freezing, or even killing those hit by them.

Limitations: Each Ice Dragon can be out on the battlefield for 5 posts, and have a cooldown of 10 posts.
User(s): Only Masters of Ice Release have ever been capable of using this technique, it is a sign of power and leadership.

Distinct Features Most of the Shitsuren Clansmen are very beautiful - so beautiful that they often charm others in their company. All of the female members of the Shitsuren Clan grow out their hair, and most members of the Clan have a very dark colored hair, seemingly black. Many of the members of the Shitsuren Clan are known for their crystal blue eyes. Most of the Clansman are known to be calm, and considerate - being the best at taking orders, as well as tracking/hunting.
Traditions: Together, the members of the Shitsuren Clan travel (on foot) to the distant island that they originated from after escaping into refuge for so long. In their very first Clan Settlement where their Kekkei Genkai was frowned upon, they honor Haku, and his family, and the original Clan, and often forgive of their Clan's past intolerance for Kekkei Genkai users. It's a very silent march, and a very emotional one.
History: The Shitsuren Clan was once destroyed, and hunted by members of the Clan who didn't possess Kekkei Genkai, as well as Hunter-nin of Kirigakure itself. The result of the Clan's slaughter was either death or refuge. Most of the Clansmen always hid their Kekkei Genkai even decades after its destruction by those lacking it - however, it took one Ninja, a Ninja named "Haji of the Ice Storm" to champion the Ice Release Kekkei Genkai, and step up in the Ninja world. He had participated in the fall of the Akatsuki, and was praised by many locals of Kirigakure. When he came out from refuge, other Clansmen came out from refuge as well. His legacy continued even after his death whilst defending Kirigakure from powers yet unknown. Since then, the Shitsuren Clan has been widely accepted by the Ninja of Kirigakure - and most members have become prominent Ninja of their time.
