Personality: Tendou is a boisterous guy who spends a lot of time talking about new ideas he's had for jutsu. His personality stands out in crowds and he puts the highly visible into highly visible ninja. He's also, as a Cancer, a very caring person, who loves all of his fellow villagers, and doesn't like seeing anyone hurt if it can be avoided. Of course this is inherently off-set by how seriously he takes being a ninja, and it leaves him seemingly bipolar. The people closest to him in rank are used to seeing his personality tighten into a serious killer, but other people rarely see that dark side of him. He will not hesitate to kill someone who is still capable of defending themselves, if he thinks they're still a threat.

General Appearance: Tendou wears his headband around his head, like a proper ninja. He is vaguely Caucasian, with a light tan. He keeps his hair cropped close to his skull, but doesn't do it to hide the color, of which he is quite proud. His left eye is the blue one, faded like old jeans, with the right eye being surprisingly grassy in color. He tends to wear a red shirt with an aloha pattern, and shorts, when not in battle, but for missions he has time to prepare for, he'll switch to a less flamboyant outfit of mostly blacks and grays, with a cloth mask and hood to hide his face and hair.

Biography & RP-Sample
Biography: Tendou is an average ninja in most respects. He is not particularly talented at any type of jutsu, and had to work to get where he is. He doesn't have to work spectacularly hard, either, but he does have to work for what he gets. He missed the first chuunin exams he could have been eligible for because of injurues. He was only mildly disappointed by this, but looked at it as a chance to get stronger so he could become a chuunin with no doubt. By the time of his second exam, he had an developed a fairly unique C-rank ninjutsu that displayed both his tactical abilities and his general ability to push an offense, and he was approved.
He spent several years as a chuunin, doing missions. His team had no casualties for those years, until they were each promoted to tokubetsu jounin rank, and sent on a B-rank. Well, it was listed as a b-rank, but there had been a lie. The enemies had turned out to be A-rank ninja, and the mission failed. Tendou was the only survivor, and just barely at that. He went into solo training for another year, and ended up perfecting a new style of Nintaijutsu, relying on his Earth mastery and impressive chakra reserves, instead of A's Lightning Release Armor.
RP-Sample:
The flamboyant color of the Aloha Shirt off-set the serious look on Tendou's face. He looked out of place and practically insane, but the job had come up at the last minute and if he was the only one in the village who could do it, he would do it with haste. Old woman had claimed that some ninjas wearing Waterfall headbands had kidnapped her dog. Of course Tendou didn't buy it, Waterfall had never been stupid enough to try and pick a fight like this before. But, then again, people can get stupider, just the same way they can get smarter, and the Raikage had listed it B-rank just in case.
Of course Tendou had found the target nearly immediately, and low and behold, somehow, they were Waterfall ninja. He choked back a laugh, before he threw together several hand seals, activating his Hardening Technique. His skin turned stone hard, and he jumped down from the higher ledge he was crouched upon, standing there in his shorts and sandals like... Well, a tourist, on vacation in the tropics. He smiled, as they turned to him, and they noticed the unusually stone-like pigment of his skin. They frowned, confused. The bigger one muttered to his partner about how there's no way this guy is a ninja. Of course, Tendou covered the ten feet with a body flicker before the other could respond, breaking the jaw of the one who'd spoken first with one hit. The guy crumpled to the floor, and Tendou turned to the other, just as he produced a kunai coated in lightning chakra. Tendou frowned softly, and lept back. This wasn't going to be quite as easy as he had thought after all.
