| Kai (in this Forum-RPG) is more of a given, or expectation in all Ninja while in-character. It's a simple method to release from a Genjutsu, depending on the User's level of willpower (being his/her Kai). It's more of a given because Kai itself isn't really taught or stressed on in Ninja Academies, and can be taught somewhat simply since it involves concentration, and will to break free from a Genjutsu. All members can use Kai in order to break free from a Genjutsu... But, their level of Kai relies heavily on their Character's rank (being D-S rank). If your character is B-rank, then his/her Kai is assumed to be B-ranked, and you'll have a chance to break free from a Genjutsu (relying on your chakra preservation, and exhaustion). The cost of using Kai often affects the user physically in some sort of stressful way, and requires mental focus. Now, if a member specializes in Genjutsu, your chances of breaking free from that Genjutsu will most likely depend on others helping you nearby, by transmitting their own chakra into you. For example, the Genjutsu a Genjutsu Specialist uses on his/her targets is D-rank, the effect of that Genjutsu will be as high as C-rank, because they specialize in Genjutsu-casting. Using Kai to successfully get out of a Genjutsu, requires at least one of your posts in a thread. Know that if your character is distracted by another character, and you're caught in a Genjutsu - the one using the Genjutsu will successfully get you into one if they used the Genjutsu in enough time - meaning, while you're distracted. If this Genjutsu system is misused, then it will more then likely change. For now, I believe I've explained enough about Genjutsu for you all to understand how it works exactly. Thank you. | |
