Techniques
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: D
Class: Offensive
Name: Draw: Level #(number varies. Kalli’s skill gives her an range of level 1 to 4)
Description: The user builds up chakra through a weapon and then, unsheathes the weapon, swings, and sends fire from the weapon forward 4 ft times the level of the Draw Attack. Both the power and range of the attack are dependent on the level of the attack.
Limitations: Lasts 1 post. Has a cooldown of the level of the strike times 2. Requires a sword-like weapon, the weapon to be sheathed, and the weapon must be able to “conduct” chakra.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: C
Class: Supplementary
Name: Draw: Fire Blade’s Dance
Description: The user forces too much fire chakra into a sheathed weapon and forcefully contains it in the weapon, even after unsheathing the weapon. As the weapon moves, a small, brief trail of fire remains in the air where the weapon was.
Limitations: Can maintain the fire on the weapon for about 5 posts. Has a cooldown of number of posts times 2.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: C
Class: Defensive
Name: Draw: Fire Pillar
Description: The user gathers a large amount of fire chakra in a sheathed weapon to keep the chakra from overflowing. The user then quickly unsheathes the blade and then jumps and spins to create a spiral of fire around the user that is wide at the base and very small at the top.
Limitations: Requires a bladed weapon that can be sheathed. Has a 1 post duration and a 5 post cooldown.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: B
Class: Offensive
Name: Draw: Overload
Description: By forcing too much chakra into a sheathed weapon to the point that the sheathe breaks off, the user’s weapon is enhanced by an incredibly deadly and powerful flame that will erupt on impact.
Limitations: The flame lasts for 2 posts before dissipating. Has a cooldown of 7 posts.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: B
Class: Offensive
Name: Draw: Lion’s Roar
Description: After forcing chakra into the blade, the user quickly draws the sword the head level and has the weapon held horizontally. The user then stabs and unleashes a massive wave of fire in the shape of a lion towards an enemy.
Limitations: Has a duration of 1 post and a cooldown of 6 posts. Requires a bladed weapon that can be sheathed and a sheathe.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: B
Class: Supplementary
Name: Fire Children’s Dance
Description: After creating 3 clones and activating Draw: Fire Blade’s Dance, the 3 clones and the original very quickly run around a target from about 5 feet away in order to cause confusion and make it difficult to determine which person/clone will attack. While the four are running around the target, they can attack or use any other attack. Because of the large amount of fire around the circle, the inside of the circle created by the four users, gets uncomfortably hot but, it’s not lethal.
Limitations: The attack can potentially last as long as Draw: Fire Blade’s Dance. The attack has no real cooldown but, it is very tiring and the clones will dissipate after the attack is used. Also, Draw: Fire Blade’s Dance has a cooldown of 10 posts, regardless of how long the technique is actually maintained.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Fire
Rank: B
Class: Offensive and Defensive
Name: Draw: Fire Shatter Blast
Description: After forcing chakra into a sheathed weapon, the user unsheathes and stabs the weapon into the ground and forces fire to flow through the earth and erupt around the user through random and haphazard cracks that extend up to 6ft.
Limitations: The technique lasts for 1 post and has a cooldown of 5 posts. Like all Draw: techniques, it requires a weapon that can be sheathed and a sheathe.
Type: Kenjutsu
Nature: Potentially any nature.
Rank: Potentially any
Class: Offensive, Defensive, or Supplementary… Potentially
Name: Draw:
Description: In order to make up for not being skilled in chakra control, the user can force chakra into a weapon that is sheathed to prevent chakra from escaping. The sheathe should be made of a very strong material but, regular sheathes can work. By forcing such a large amount of chakra into a small area, the user can then use very quick, brief, and generally powerful techniques. The drawback is that most Draw: techniques last a very short time and require the user to re-sheathe their weapon anytime they want to use a Draw: technique.
Limitations: Varies depending on the Draw: technique.
Origins: If you want to call it an origin, this is it. Kalli had pursued her training with the sword since she was 5 but, as she got older, she realized that she would never be able to use a samurai sword in combat since it couldn't conduct chakra. She had a blacksmith make katanas that can conduct chakra and, she has about 20 sitting in her house alone. She always carries at least two of these katanas on her person. These swords were later "updated" with a chakra resistant sheathe to further increase the effectiveness of her draw techniques.
